Bavaria Garmisch-Partenkirchen

I made two trips to this great area. One in '94 and one in '96. I had just started hiking in the US and really enjoyed it.

I was in Frankfurt to visit my great aunt,  Meine leibe Tante Anne and while I had some down time I decided to visit the German Alps.

'96 Trip

My main goal was to rock climb but the weather did not cooperate. So I hiked quite a bit.

The Zugspitze is on the left. Germany's highest peak.

I hiked the Kramerspitz 6512 ft / 1985 m, I did summit but there was a ton of snow up there.
