Car camping at Kite Lake
Listen up!
I start hiking up from the Kite Lake trail head at 4 a.m.. The weather was perfect with clear skies and no precip. in the forecast. The trail was great until after the Cameron saddle and it was hard to locate in areas up to the Democrat pre-summit hump. I summited at 6:15am and was the 6th person to summit that morning. I spent about 40 minutes at the summit and then hiked down passing about 70+ hikers and made it back to my truck at 8:30 a.m.
