Paris France

We spent a week in Paris during our break from climbing (visit our climbing page here) in Southern France. Paris is a very big city and there is much to see here. A week is definetly not a lot of time but we did see the major Paris Landmarks. Great food, friendly people and a very fast paced city. Had a great time here and the weather was perfect.

Take my advice, when traveling around Paris, use the Metro!

We drove straight from Buis to Versailles a drive of about 7 hours.

It has been a long time wish of mine to visit this Classic French Palace. I've heard so much about it and finally getting to visit The Palace it did not dissapoint. Rachel and I spent two days here. AMAZING!!

MJM finally gets to Versailles!

After our incredible visit to Versailles we drove to our Hotel in the city of Villejues, which took us longer than expected but we did get quite the unexpected tour of Paris, none the less we did arrive at our Hotel La Ferme des Barmonts and checked in albeit 3 hours late.

Our hotel room was spacious and really nice but it was also very noisy with the neighbors and courtyard near by. You can visit them here: www.barmonts.fr

We had a great stay in Paris. We took the very efficient Metro (subway) to all of our desinations. We were helped by a few nice locals making our visit even more enjoyable.
