I have been a musician for 30+ years and performing professionally 20+ of those years. I started playing percussion in 1970, playing in marching, jazz, symphonic and orchestra during junior and senior high school. My first professional gig was at the age of 15. I moved to South Florida in the mid seventies, and worked exclusively in Florida and the Caribbean, playing drums in wedding bands, dance bands, rock bands and DJ'd wedding's and club's until 1997. I started playing guitar in 1981. Teaching myself to play and read music. My Mother made me study the classics at an early age which gave me a great appreciation for Classical music. Click here MJM's music for a history of my past bands, various members, photos and all things ME. Well almost.

I've had the opportunity to meet many fine and world class musicians on my road journeys.

Well after decades of failed attempts.
Nights spent camped outside of hotel.
Hours spent outside of stage doors.
Sneak ins to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Dinner and Saturday Night Live.
Previous marathon camp outs at signings.
I FINALLY got that picture of me with Paul that I wanted so badly.
Unfortunately I look like a crazed lunatic who had not slept or showered in 2 days (oh yeah I was).
But at this point I don't care how bad I looked in the picture.
I got it, and I will cherish it always.
Years of perseverance can pay off.

“The main thing is to actually meet the people who buy your records and you get some amazing stories.

You’re doing a signing and then someone says ‘I have just flown in from New York’. She drove from Philadelphia. That is why I do it.” - SIR PAUL McCARTNEY
