The Maestro was at the Dean Markley booth on Friday 19 @ 3pm signing and taking photo's. I next saw him at the Marshall booth just hanging out and talking with the Reps. that same day. On Saturday he was at the Roland booth to do a Solo performance and sign afterwards.

A few notes from the performance.

A very long line formed and the Roland Theatre might hold 100. There looked to be at least twice that in line.

He did a brief sound check with a pre-recorded track.

He had some cord problems with his effects pedals that were straightened out just before he went on.

At the end of Blue the track was stuck in a loop and Yngwie looked a bit perturbed that the sound man didn't turn it (the volume at least) off after a few hand signals from him. I heard the soundman say through the monitors (I was in the second row, center) that it was stuck. I also heard the soundman say (through the monitors) that April was having a problem with someone or something. Yngwie seemed to blow it off and went into Fugue as soon as the track started. Yngwie played well and was his usual energetic self.

His solo set lasted for about 25 minutes and was all to pre-recorded tracks which sounded great.

Here are pictures from Friday and Saturday.
