Mt. Bierstadt 14,060' 38th highest of Colorado's 53 14ers
This was a pretty hike by my peak bagging standards. The trail was one of the best I've been on. I started at 3:00 am, summited at 5:50, stayed at the summit til 6:25 and was back at my truck at 8:20. It was very concerning to see that hikers were still starting up the trail at 9:00 am., considering that 16 hikers were injured from lighting the previous weekend after they had a 7:30am start at the TH.
