His mountain exploits are second to none and very inspiring!

I was traveling to Liepzig, Germany on the way back from Nepal to meet Mr. Messner.

Per usual I show up early & head to the back of the venue.

I see Herr Messner & approach him hopefully to get a photo with him...I ask but he declines.

I did meet him but he would not take or pose for photos. Apparently after Covid he does not like photos.
