WOW! What a fantastic show put on by Donny & Marie! I arrived at 1 pm to hopefully meet Donny, which I did after his brief soundcheck.
Their Vegas type show started promply at 7:30 pm and the two hour set started with an opening medley featuring the songs: It takes two, I gotta feeling, Fight for you Right and Love Shack. Marie then did a solo set featuring Paper Roses, Meet me in Montana and few other songs from earlier in her career. Donny then came out and did a solo set featuring Puppy Love, Soldier of love, Moon River, Pie Jesu and a few others. Next Marie did a fantastic version of Nessun Dorma followed by a show tune set of Cabaret and Chicago. Then Donny and Marie came out together for their Brother / Sister shtick which was very funny and entertaining. They then sang their duet hits from the past including: I'm leaving it up to you, Make the world go away, Deep Purple and a few others. A very, very good show!
