Red Rocks Amphitheatre / Denver, Colorado 6/5/2013

I attended Sting's Denver, Colorado show. He did not disappoint and the show was sold out!

He was very energetic and had a great backing band of five members. It was an overcast day in Denver and the temps at show time were in the high 40's, very unusal weather for a Red Rocks show and this was my third.

There was no opening act and Sting came on at 8:20 and played til about 10:15 or so including a few encores.

vipnation's Sting meet and greet

I was able to attend The Sting meet & greet/sound check package. Helen our VIP host and her assistant did a fantasic job!

Check in was at 4pm and there was about 30 of us. We were escorted to the front of the stage.

Sting came out about 5 minutes later and was in a great mood.

He said he wanted to do something a little different this time and invited all the ladies up to the stage to help him sing. The band then started into "Every little thing she does is Magic". All the ladies got a chance to sing with Sting more than once.

Then it was the guys turn with Sting and band playing "Every breath you take". We all had a few times at the mic. Waitng my turn, fifth left in line (far left).

I was pretty much last in line and when I met Sting I shook his hand and said welcome back to Colorado.

We chatted about the current cold weather and his numerous times at Red Rocks for about 30 seconds or so. He then said I was "very good during the sound check"  as our picture was taken.

I was thinking, you are very good, I am average at best.
