Lyle LLoyd Lingle II passed away on November 6, 2022.
There will be a Service for Lyle at the Kendall United Methodist Church • 7600 SW 104th Street Pinecrest, Florida on Saturday November 19, 2022 @ 2 pm.
I was very sad to hear this bad news. I tried to see my old dear friend when I was in South Florida this past April 2022 but with no successs as he was in the hostipal during my entire week long visit. I did get a chance to talk with his Mom Wanda & Wife Roxanne after which my thoughts were it didn't look very promising.
I first met Lyle in Homestead, Florida at Kenny Ham's house in 1978. Lyle & Harry Hodes were jamming with Kenny and I hung out there all day with them.
I have many fond memories playing all over South Florida & St. Thomas, Virgin Islands with Lyle. He was a GREAT versatile musician & a reliable friend / Band mate with a great sense of humor.
My fondest memories of Lyle are him taking his time & countless hours to teach me Guitar. Lyle & I teaching at the Kendall music shop & spending all of our just earned money at the local Sushi restaurant. Playing in Key West and afterwards going fishing under the influence until dawn. Hanging out at the Kings Bay Country Club where him & Harry worked at off of Old Cutler road. Lyle & I being in the house band 7 Heaven at 36 West for 3 years. Him playing drums & me playing bass, after playing 36 West the long hang outs at his parents house afterwards, traveling in my van to & from the club and many many more!
RIP my dear old friend! You will be missed by many!

Lyle & I spent many great Florida road trips together. None better than this trip to Key West for Fantasy Fest in 1989.
Lyle stayed up for 3 straight days enjoying life & I enjoyed the great Fantasy Fest activities.
