7 Heaven 1987 - 1990
Kirk, Alex, Lyle and I left Guest star to form this band. We sunk all the money we made from gigging into equipment. Eventually we would work full time. We played all over South Florida and the Florida Keys. Playing classic rock and then adding top 40 dance tunes. First Danny left, then Kirk, then Paul. We continued on for a while until the usual implosion came about. After each member left the remaining members bought them out until eventually I ended up with all the PA and Lights.

The Late Lyle Lingle" because we thought his habitual lateness would result in his being late for his own funeral.
However his stellar musicianship more than made up for this!

I remember this place well! Lyle & I used to stop here after our Ma Grundy's gig ended.
7 Heaven had to pass an audition whiuch we did. From here we bought all of our sound & lights, added members and played 4 nights a week. We played all covers from 9pm to 3am normally.

This was a very fun time for me. Tony Martin who owned Mr. Print let us rehearse in the back room.

There was this thing that I think Lyle started, where if you weren't paying close attention where he would pull down your shorts/pants no matter where we happen to be. Soon were all were doing it. Here Lyle falls victim to a Tai Chi throwing Kirk (L).
We all did this thing where we pulled down someone's shorts when they weren't paying close attention.

This version played a lot around The Keys & South Florida and eventually became house band at One South.
Alex would leave to try his luck in Los Angeles, Suzanne & Lyle would work together on some originals and I would join Mr Scary a rock band. Clyde would hang around until I asked him to join High Profile. Ralph disappeared and then reappeared.
Clyde "Butchie" Thompson was a friend of Suzanne's and joined the band soon after Kirk left. A pretty good player.
Ralph was quite a handful & at times was completely out of control.
