Teen Idols
I was a huge fan of this music (and still am) and then I heard Hendrix, Deep Purple, Yes, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Grand Funk Railroad...
For me I guess the Beatles kicked it all off when I was about 5.
Some of the biggest teen idols when I was growing up were:
David Cassidy www.davidcassidy.com
Bobby Sherman www.bobbysherman.com
Leif Garrett www.leifgarrett.net
Donny Osmond www.donny.com
MJM with Donny 7/2017. You can visit my Donny and Marie tour 2017 concert page here
Donny at Mall of America / Bloomington, Minnesota. Doing his 10,000 Pyramid show.

The Monkees
Visit the best (in my opinion) Monkees site here: monkees.net
I loved their hit TV show and watched it religiously after school.
My Favorite was Mickey as he was a drummer and sang most of their hits.
The Monkees Live
Paramount Theatre / Denver, Colorado 7/5/11
Note: Unfortunately Michael Nesmith did not participate
As usual I show up early (3:30 pm) to avoid Denver traffic and head to the Paramount to take pix and catch Davy before he heads in ...which I did!
Paramount typo on the marquee ... 6/20 is actually 7/5

The Show
The show started right on time and was a real nostalgia trip for me and a pretty much sold out Denver crowd.
Davy, Mickey & Peter were in great spirits and put on a vey exciting show with a vey good encore.
Here we come, walking down the street....
Mickey
Davey
Peter
Pretty much a sold out show!
They did do a short encore.
That's a wrap
The Meet & Greet
The M & G was after the show. The guys seemed a little tired but did sign and take pictures with everyone that wanted one. There where about 150 people give or take. So as you can imagine the staff moved it along pretty fast. It still was worth the money, only $116.00.
Some pics
Mickey was the first one out and was great to talk to. He was extremely friendly and actually walked through the line himself. Sweet!
Peter was the second one out
Davy was the last one out and the line moved towards him, unlike Mickey and Peter who moved through the long line.
Mickey, Peter and Davy were nice enough to sign my CD cover

Michael Nesmith Live
Boulder Theatre / Boulder, Colorado 4/3/13
I heard that Michael was going on tour and I was not going to miss an opportunity to see him and possible meet him, when I already knew he did not tour much if ever. So I attended his show in Boulder.
I arrived about 4:30 and took a few photos.
Michael was very up beat and did a short Storyteller detail before every song. His band was very good and it was nice to not get my ears blown out after a concert. I attended the Conversation Reception after the show as well.
Pictures:
Road crew arrived earlier in the day
Doors open at 6:30 and this is probably the only night concert I have ever attended that started on time and at 7:30 pm!

Michael Nesmith's Conversation Reception
Michael was great in his Meet & Greet / Conversation Reception . He signed everything and took photos with everyone.
He even spend quite a bit of time with each person! It was really great to finally meeting him!

Michael signed my Monkees greatest hits CD. Now it is signed by all four Monkees!
